- some past speakers - Rema Hanna - Professor NYU Wagner, Jeffrey Fulgham - Director, Water Technologies and Process - General Electric
- Social Innovation Competition - Health, Education, and Environment - choose a topic, divided into groups - come up with a self-sustainable business model that is non-profit - there is a lot of flexibilty - you make it up and if you win they will help you put it into action - great experience
- diverse group of students - 35 different majors, average GPA 3.5, 47 different languages spoken fluently, ages 19-29
- career opportunities
- partners with graduate schools - MIT Sloan, Wharton (U Penn), Duke Fuqua, The Fletcher School (Tufts), London Business School, Yale SOM, Columbia Business School, Chicago GSB, NYU Wagner
- if you attend one of the sessions, you become a fellow - can attend any future events to network, check out admissions officers, etc.
- program is a type of investment - the benefits to career and grad school are worth it - pay 35 application fee, 120 for books and materials, transportation is on you
- application - transcript, resume, list of extracurricular activities, 3 essays
- applied - November 30th heard back by January 2nd
